The fly fishing is world-class with two trophy lakes, Stoney and Minnie Lakes, within walking distance of the lodge and many other lakes located throughout the ranch. All of them offer excellent fly fishing for the famous Kamloops rainbow trout. The two trophy lakes offer just that – the chance of catching a monster rainbow up to 13 lbs.

 

 

 

Douglas Lake Ranch has many lakes to choose from, so you can be sure of having a good fly fishing experience in a very natural setting. Day One –Fish Stoney Lake or Minnie Lake
From the comfort of a 17-foot flat bottom fly fishing boat, your guide will provide you with instruction on Stillwater fly fishing techniques.

Day Two –Fly fish from a pontoon boat
Your guide will take you to a nearby lake where you can experience the pleasure of fly fishing from a pontoon boat.
